Juan Joubert has joined WD Hearn's service department in Cape Town as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer. Juan brings with him years of knowledge and experience and we look forward to having him as part of the team.

WD Hearn Machine Tools has joined forces with CAMplete to supply an integrated suite of post processing, verification and optimization tools dedicated to 5-axis machining centers.

During April 2018 WD Hearn signed with LK Metrology and became their South African agent. 

At the beginning of May WD Hearn signed with Anca CNC Machines and became their South African agent for Tool and Cutter Grinders.

WD Hearn has launched the new Mistubishi M800 CNC control and will have it on demo at their Cape Town Inhouse exhibition in November.

In developing the M800/M80 Series, Mitsubishi went back to the drawing board and completely reexamined their cutting-edge control

WD Hearn have been appointed the sole distribution rights for YuShine Vertical Boring Mills and Vertical Turning Centers in South Africa.

In June 2017 WD Hearn appointed Johan Neveling as Technical Director of the company.

Johan is based at the Johannesburg offices and has been handling Applications for WD Hearn countrywide since 2011.
