In May 2019 WD Hearn successfully installed a Fermat WFT11 Table Type Boring Mill at Bell Equipment in Richards Bay in the Western Cape.

Durning June 2016 WD Hearn engineers installed a Mitsubishi EA8S Advance at a top plastics company in Cape Town. The EA8S is a Sinker EDM Machine, the most advanced EDM ever installed by WD Hearn Machine Tools.
